Does the LG enV phone work in the United Kingdom?

I really love the LG enV phone and have since I saw it on Gossip Girl and read a lot about it. However, I have checked for it a lot online, but it is not available in Europe or the UK where I live.

If I were to order the phone from the US, would it work here in the United Kingdom? If so, how? If not, then are they going to release it here any day?

Any knowloedge on this would be appreciated!

I have the LG EnV and it is on Verizon Wireless. Since Verizon doesn't use sim cards you won't be able to use the phone in the UK. UK Providers  use something called GSM and Verizon uses something called CDMA and they are not compatible. Sorry! Hope I helped!

Do you have CDMA network in UK ? If you have one, you can get the LG enV to use it in UK. You need to get the flashed LG enV to use it on other networks. If you need flashed LG enV, you can mail me or talk with me on Yahoo!
