  1. it has the DVD player application built into all copies of Mac OS X.

    It does not have an optical drive to insert the DVD. You must buy apple's external optical drive for $99.


  2. It does not have an optical drive (DVD-ROM, CD-ROM). You must buy an external drive and plug it into it.

  3. The MacBook Air is suckish.

    It has NO optical drive, it has only 1 USB port and its preformance is very poor (80 gb hard drive).

    Not to mention, it overheats in a very small amount of time, and its battery is irreplacable unless you send it to Apple or something...
