  1. Considering the fact that Palin was for the bridge to nowhere before she was against it, and there are signs she's already abused her power (the state trooper investigation), I'd say, definitely no.

She may not be all that bad a candidate, but "reformer" won't sell.

  2. McCain has always been a watchdog when it comes to pork barrel spending and Palin auctioned off the Governor's jet as one of hr first official acts.

Sounds like these two will be serious about balancing the budget and eliminating wasteful spending.  That's a change I'd like to see!

  3. I know it's the same old ticket - same policies we have had for the last 8 years - it's a ticket to nowhere!

  4. No. McCain himself totally turned his back on anything that ever made him a maverick and his platform doesn't show any reformist ideas. On many points, like a timetable to withdraw from Iraq, he's even less prepared than Bush, to come to new insights and we all know Bush is not exactly the most flexible guy.

Sarah Plain represents the worst of American conservatism. She touts the conservative line on science, creationism, global warming and so on.

This ticket is wrong for America and could set the country back decades by ideolgizing education and science, a mentality similar to the dark ages.

Furthermore this pick confirms what most of us already know and the numbers show beyond a shadow of a doubt. The republican ticket once again is owned by big oil

  5. Reformist ticket? Jury's out.

    Substance? Yes.

  6. Yes. The US might have a team that will finally cut wasteful federal spending and clean up corruption. What a great ticket.

  7. Not necessarily, but Governor Palin has fought more corruption, even in her own party, than Senator Obama or Senator Biden, and even Senator McCain!

I will say it represents a platform with more substance than their opponents.
