Does the Modem speed affect my internet speed?

If I get a new modem which is faster than the one now, would the internet get faster or will it be the same and how will this affect my internet connection?

If you are talking about dialup then it will still be slower than anything else.

Broadband will work as fast as the service you pay for from your provider.

Speed of page loading varies and depends on the volume of traffic - between you and your provider, then the internet itself and finally the server traffic for the page you are trying to access.
