Does the Opera Mini browser really enable full HTML web browsing?

I'm going to get the Blackberry Curve 8330 and I've heard that BB's web browser isn't that great. People have told me to download the Opera Mini browser, but will it enable me to get full HTML browsing? I want web pages to look just like they do if I were on my laptop. Thanks. :)

i'll tell u this... yes it wil...l i have a htc 8525 but the only  it would load then tell me low on memory but it does work but it should work on the bb curve

Yes, the web pages display as they would normally. This doesn't mean that ALL sites will work. Opera Mini still doesn't support Flash content. But the browser is still a lot better than the default BlackBerry browser.
