no, i just bought one so i know. you can buy some for $10-$20. you don't need to pay for those ridiculously overpriced ones.

ps3 80 gb with mgs4 is not coming with HDMI cable; you have to buy seperately.

check ebay for the best deal.

I believe it only comes with component cables, which still display HD quality.  If you really want an HDMI cable, check www.monoprice.com as there are cheap cables there.
