I found an iphone integration kit I like by PIE but it says it needs a SAT port and AM/SAT button. I want to know if it will work with a package 2 prius or not. So Package 2 Prius owners... is there an AM/SAT button on the dash/head unit? What kind of ports are at the back of the head unit?

  1. Package 2 of what model year?  What option code is that?  Also note that each Toyota region gives a different package option code than what is listed nationally...

All 2004-current model year Prius can have the integrated/factory satellite-radio installed, whether or not it is listed as "satellite-radio ready."  All the "ready" part means is that there's a "SAT" button labeled on the dash.

Here are some options for iPod/iPhone integration (where you can control your iPod through the touch screen and steering wheel controls, and songs will display on the MFD) for a 2004-current model year Prius:

    from CoastalETech: http://www.coastaletech.com/ULTIMATE%20I...

various Vais Technology products add an aux-input or will do an iPod hookup. (I used their older AIC-100i model without issues in my 2004 Prius for full iPod integration.  It'll play music from my iPhone, but calls are still made on the phone.): http://www.vaistech.com/

and the Denison DICE iPod integration kit:

I don't recall reading of a Prius owner trying a product by someplace called "PIE" before.
