My stepmother has the Verizon Pocket PC VX6700 and is wanting to let my stepsister use it. We would rather her not have internet on it and I can't find the answer to this question on the Verizon Wireless website or anywhere for that matter. So, does my stepmother have to leave the internet on the phone so that it can be used or can she take it off and use it as if it is just a normal phone. Basically without the mutimedia minutes, I believe. There will be txting and calling on the phone. We just need to know if we can take the internet off because it is too expensive to keep on the plan. Please help!!! Thank you so much.

  1. Yes you can as it has wifi so you don't need the data or the internet package. I would also use Opera Mini with the required Jbed pacakge. Opera mini allows you to view full webpages and web pages much better than the defualt browser. You can get jbed here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthre...

you unzip the file then transfer it to your phone. You can get opera mini here http://www.operamini.com/download/
