Does the President of France retain his "Prince of Andorra" title?

Andorra has two "co-princes"... the current President of France, and the Bishop of Urgell. My question is, when the President is no longer in office, does he get to keep the title of co-Prince of Andorra? And do his children get the titles of Prince/Princess of Andorra?

  1. The presidency of France has this title attached to it.  The president himself does not.  As long as one occupies the presidency, one has the title.

  2. No, the President of France is only co-prince of Andorra whilst in office. His children don't get titles.

  3. What the guy above said. the title "co prince of Andorra" is held ex officio, and is in no way hereditary... same things why the children of French kings were apt to hold all kinds of title, but never that one. Only the current ruler of France can have that title, and he can't dispose of it.
