Does the Pure Digital Flip Video Camcorder work with Macs?

I'm looking for an affordable camcorder and don't want anything special. I just wanted to know if the camcorder will let me uploa it onto my Mac so I can make it into a DVD. Its a Macbook running on Tiger OSX if that makes a difference.

Yes, but you need to convert the video from MPEG2 to something useful.

Download and install it - then use it to change from the MPEG2 video file to DV or mov (QuickTime)... then iMovie can handle it for editing.

You do not need this now, but Flip4Mac is another handy (free) video utility, too...
