No silly she don't need the money anyway she's rich. It's kinda like a title only type thing. I really don't think she has any certain duties other that social functions or maybe greeting famous foreign dignitaries or celebrities. Other than that its just pretty much a total yawner.

Her Majesty has to submit a budget every year for approval to Parliament. She has to show where each and every "penny" goes. Out of this money,she pays servants salaries,upkeep of  equipment in the palace,utensils, automobiles, bodyguards, alarm systems,weapons,protective gear,etc..

The appropriate question in this care would be to ask, does the Queen of England have a job? If she does not have a job, then she does not get a salary :). However, I am sure the queen owns a lot of property from which she earns a handsome amount every month and most likely pays taxes. My assumption would be that she does not earn a salary since she does not have a job.
