  1. She takes her own, believe it or not. Edit..... I don't mean she carries it,it travels with her.

  2. I don't think that it's actually true. I heard a story once about these workers (she was visiting) who went to sooo much trouble to get a new toilet etc but she didn't even use it. I think that's the case for the most part, she doesn't use them (I guess she holds it in!). I guess when she travels places that they would do it anyway but I doubt that it's a personal request of hers (maybe the palace people).

  3. Not all the time, only when The Queen thinks the public toilet is not "adequately" clean enough to be used. According to the news, a British council was ordered to put up a 5,000-pound brand new loo for the Queen after learning that the toilets were not pristine but they were clean. She requested that the council must replace the toilet for her visit, however, The Queen didn't even use the high-priced toilet that she had ordered...

Note: I hate using public washrooms myself because you don't know who was in there before you, and how clean it is. There are tons of germs in there, especially when people can't even bother to flush after each use, that's just disgusting.

  4. Apparently not...I thought that I had once read that they like to make sure that she has a new toliet seat at each place she visits. This is what the protocol was for the last big tour outside of the UK..

  5. They carry around a spare loo seat.  This is a FACT cos my cousin works at a place she visited.

They often try to deny this by saying 'Contrary to myth, she is not accompanied by a velvet/satin covered loo seat' - how to convey a lie with the truth.  In fact it is just an ordinary loo seat to prevent souvenir hunters from exhibiting the one the royal bum has been on.

  6. well, it is her throne isn't it?

  7. Welcome to Royalty Joey!

I have no idea what requests the Queen has or does not have about her toilet.  Perhaps it's one of those "need to know" things.  Actually, I really don't even want to know.  But I'm sure there are several members of her staff whose job it is to make certain that the "facilities" are private and above all safe and secure.

    best of luck to you!
