I don't see it. This is our #1 need and the McCain ticket has nothing for the economy. In fact I don't see Palin having any strengths

  1. I think  they are more better than Obama-Biden. Actually, Palin can beat Obama on all aspects except giving a speech.

  2. MITT Romney was the only hope.  He was obviously highly qualified and would have been good for the country, but this election is about "feelings" and emotions and the "groundbreaking" things like the first black or woman in the whitehouse.  So unfortunately, we don't get the most qualified financial gen9ius to help us out economically.

  3. what can the pres. do about the economy. You know the Dem's are going to tax everyone. No country has ever taxed itself to prosperity.

Bush's problem is he spends like a Democrat.

  4. No, that is why we are 9 TRILLION dollars in debt

  5. Yes.  Any experience is more than what the Democratic candidate has with anything.

  6. Nope. Neither liberals nor neocons do. All we need is a true conservative like Pat Buchanan or Ron Paul for president.

  7. Yes check out Governor Palins success in Alaska. She is a fiscal conservative and Alaska is in great shape financially.

I don't think you are looking hard enough for any of her strengths.

  8. McCain has none, as he has admitted.  Palin may know something about the economy of Alaska - we'll have to wait and see, since nobody in the lower 48 states heard of Palin until today.

  9. The Republican Ticket COULD have had experience with the economy, had McCain chosen Romney as the vp candidate.

  10. Well you obviously didn't do your research. Palin is the only person running that has executive experience. Do you know what that means? I suggest you look it up.

    McCain/Palin

  11. Unlike a previous answer that actually blames the state of the economy on republicans, I know that the debt is a complicated issue that has plenty of blame to go around.

The dems currently have control of the nations purse strings and are spending like drunken sailors!

The last time there was a balanced budget it was DESPITE Clinton and accomplished by a republican led congress (thanks Newt).

ALL Washington insiders are mad with power and will overspend if not restricted, but the republicans have at least in theory if not in actions stated that they want to reduce spending, taxation, government bloat and corruption. The democrats have stated the opposite.

  12. Palin is the Governor of a State with a surplus how many states boast a surplus? That's hard to do unless your crooked and I think there are plenty of crooked politicians in all parties. It's refreshing to see someone not using smoke and mirrors and glitz and glamor to try to mesmerize the weak willed and easily influenced.
