if they use the players that they have in the right way then they have a chance of making the finals and if they dont make the finals they a really bad team which needs a lot of help. I mean how much more do u\ need on a team u have t-mac yao and now ron u even have a good enough bench but they have to v.s. the lakers and spurs and other good teams out tthere but they have a chance

uhm. there still working on getting past the first round. with teams like the lakers, suns, jazz, and spurs, they dont stand a high chance

They have a good team but for one I am not sure who their team leader is in a battle. And then secondly the things that can go bad for them (yao getting hurt, Tmac playing just great enough to almost carry them, and Artest flipping) have a record of happening pretty regularly.

This year is their best chance yet; unfortunately, the West is still highly competitive. They have their own Big 3 of T-Mac, Artest, and Yao, but all the Western teams have other advantages.  The Lakers are getting Bynum back, the Hornets have shored up their bench with Posey, the Spurs are old but still highly skilled...it's still going to be tough. I do believe they will have an excellent shot at finally breaking out of the first round, but reaching the Finals is something else entirely.

They lost patric ewing jr, which was one of the biggest mistakes they could've made.

They had a great chance to make the conference finals, not too sure about NBA finals, with ron artest, tracy mcgrady, and yao ming.

If everyone stays healthy, they can surely make the conference finals, and possibily the nba finals.

Tracy McGrady always gets injured

and can you count on Ron Artest

A tiny chance, but they still need to go through the same Western powers that ran the West last year: LA and New Orleans. All trips to the Finals go through them. Neither has gotten worse this year, and Houston needs a perfect season (with no -- gulp -- injuries!) to compete with them.
