???Does the Sat 2 Math Level II grade on a curve???

Question

I recently bought a princeton SAT 2 Math level I and II book and it implied that I needed a perfect score on the Math level II to get an eight hundred. But I've been looking around and apparently there's a curve...is that true?

I just got my scores in and made a 760 on the Math level II, if there is a curve, about how many questions did I miss to get this score and am I in a good enough percentile to get into a good college?
