Does the Sony RDR-HXD890 or RDR-HXD870 support dual tuners i.e. recording whilst watching another channel? ?

Unfortunately Sony does not say :-

  1. It will not let you record one channel whilst watching another. It does have two tuners, but one is analogue and one is digital, and it will only let you use one at a time. However, if you have another tuner source (eg in your TV, or a separate freeview box), then you will be able to record one channel using the Sony tuner, and watch a different channel using the TV or freeview tuner. The Sony will allow you to watch a previously recorded show on the hard disk, whilst recording a separate show, and will also allow you to watch a DVD whilst recording another show.
