What you are calling "multi-burst" is called continuous drive by the camera makers.

If you drill down on dpreview, you will see that your W80 has a 2.8 fps continuous shooting speed.  Actually one of the fastest for P&S cameras.  Somewhere in your cameras owners manual the set up to shoot continuous is covered ... it is also listed in your cameras menu
