No. Years ago when congress was deciding on tv coverage for the house and senate it was met with hot debate, mainly out of fear that politicians would have to watch their words too carefully and that they would hold back on getting the real business done. It has been reported by many members of congress that it has in the years done just that. But politicizing congress is one thing, the last thing in the world that should be politicized is the supreme governing body of a nation, therefore it was swiftly agreed upon that supreme court proceedings, while made somewhat public to those who come in person to look on, should not be viewed on tv like congress.
