Does the Tacoma Dome meet NHL standards?

I know the Keyarena does not, but I've never heard one way or the other about the Tacoma Dome.

  1. It does not look like any form of professional hockey has been played there for over 10 years.  Can they even make ice for the whole season?


  2. I don't think the Tacoma Dome would either...the NHL seems to have a thing for luxury suites/skyboxes/whatever-you-like-to-cal... and I don't think the Tacoma Dome has them.  There's not a whole lot of fixed seats either.
