Does the U.S. plan to have permanent military bases in Iraq?

Iraq eventually wants us to leave, but will we continue to have some presence there forever like we do in Germany, Korea, Japan etc?

  1. I beleive they do but nothing substansial numbers wise that's the pact they were trying to negotiate recently!
