  1. They train every year in "red flag" in nevada, its a huge exercise and they fight each other.

They also do it in Canada and europe.

    Dunno about the f22.

  2. Yes. At least once a year at Nellis Air Force Base in Southern Nevada. The training program is called "Red Flag" and draws its name from the Cold War days where NATO pilots were trained in air combat at that base to meet the air threat of the Warsaw Pact.

  3. All the time.

They are always running informal exercises, along with the larger formal ones.

    Only the US has F-22's.

    They cannot be exported.

The US will export the F-35

  4. Joint air-combat exercises are carried out between various friendly air forces - below India take on the French

The Royal Air Force are now taking the new Euro Fighter - the most formiddible jet fighter ever.  It is the only fighter air craft which is capable of carrying out aerobatics at supersonic speeds.

Have been unable to find anything re the RAF and USAF in joint combat exercises - sure they must take place, otherwise we're not going to hit the target together when the big day comes.

Finally, here's the F22 Raptor - hold on tight there. . . .going up.

  5. Sometimes it's just nice to dream.....

  6. Yes they do, lots of air forces train together.

No the RAF don't have any F-22 Raptors, just Eurofighters. Britain however has contributed towards the new F-35 Lightning II which is an improved version of the F-22 and are due to get some.
