Sony Camera Cable's sometimes use their OWN interface.

Check around in Stores. If the Display DSC-S700 has the Mini-USB connector that the Kodak V1003 does, then Yes, they are the Same. If not, then the Sony uses their Own Interface, like the DSC-T300 Uses.

Basically, if you Can only find One Cable Interface on the Sony DSC-S700, then NO, they have Diffent Cables.
