Where can I find a professor matched with the subject they teach? If I take French 1 where can I find what teacher is instructing it now? Size of class? Advise about majors. What

time slots and days the course is given etc and any other info

you might advise a Freshman?

  1. I'm confused by your question. Are you specifically referring to the University of Georgia? If so, you should be able to access the class schedule of all of the teachers as well as what their specific interests are by researching them on the Internet and in the school registry. All of this information is public, and should be easily available. If you don't know how to do this research, ask your counselor or someone in the technology center to show you how. You should have been assigned an adviser when you registered for the university. If you do not have an adviser, go to the counseling center, registration office, or to the department office itself. That information should be readily available.


  2. It used to be that every school published a schedule of classes for each semester which gave much of this information (except for the advice about majors, which you would find in the school's bulletin).  However, now most of this is published online, and only students who have gone through orientation have access to this information.  Rest assured that if you attend UGA's orientation, they will tell you where to get all of this information.
