Does the Vice President live in the White house as well as the president?

I realize this may be a silly question but if the VP doesn't live in the white house where do they live..on the grounds .. How are they protected as well?

The Vice-Presidents home is on the grounds of the Navel Observatory

The Vice President lives at the superintendent's house to the Naval Observatory and has since the Taft administration. The Secret Service has the protection well in hand.

Its funny seeing some photos i'd rather live in that house than the white house. Looks more homey more secluded.

No the Vice Presidents residence is the old Naval Observatory and they have the same level of protection as the president
