Does the Xbox 360 Wireless Network Adaptor have to 'Clip on' to the back of your 360 to work?

By this, i don't mean plugging it in to your USB port, i mean the clip holes on the back.

I was wondering this because to improve the wireless signal, i think i could use a USB extender to move the adaptor closer to my router and speed up Xbox Live

  1. all you need is for the USB from the internet adapter to be plugged into the xbox 360. =D


  2. The Wireless Network Adaptor has a USB plug which you plug into the back of the Xbox 360, sorry, no clips :)
