Does the YMCA pay well?

It depends on the position but for a non-profit they pay well. And it is absolutely not true that not for profits always pay less. I have worked for 3 in the past 12 years of my career and all of them have paid more than the 2 companies that I worked for that are for profit. I think it is a common misconception that they don't pay well because they aren't making a profit, but I have not found that to be the case where I have worked in the positions that I have held.
