Hey, thanks for trying to answer. Basically, I installed Sims 2 on my older brother's account, because he is administrator. I downloaded some sims from the Sims 2 website (on my account) and they don't show up on Sims (again on my account.) But when I Go on my Brother's account, my downloads, from my account, are on his Sims!!!! So, my question is: Do you have to be administrator to use downloads from the sims 2 website? or: Do you have to install the sims 2 on your account to benefit from the downloads from the sims 2 website? Please try to answer, thank you.

  1. The short answer here is that the downloads also install to the PC and because the original installation was done on your brothers account, that is where these add-ons will also be installed to. However, if Sims 2 is available on your account, it should actually contain all the downloads, add-ons and even expansion packs on both accounts.

I don't know if you have done this in the meantime, but try to log out of both accounts and restart the PC. The log on as just yourself and see if it's sorted.

Apart from this there is a change that the new downloads are in his "my Documents" folder, and that is not available to you. Then you will have to physicall copy these files to your "documents" folder (Sims2 Directory, or EA Games) and then it should be available.

Did I say this was the "short" answer?

    Lol

    Hope this helped
