  1. Man cannot live on celery alone. Try a diet with well balanced meals and some exercise.

  2. Celery doesn't have enough nutrients in it for it to be all you eat. It would be like becoming anorexic. It would be good to use celery to replace all your unhealthy snacking habits. And, might I reccomend carrots? They also have negative calories.

It is much better to eat a balanced diet, just less of it.  The two web sites above should help you learn what is involved.

(Don't be concerned that one is for diabetics.  Everyone should eat the balanced diet that diabetics eat.)

  4. If it sounds ridiculous, it probably is. I have nothing against celery, but I would think that a vegetarian diet would be more effective (you would probably get tired of eating celery pretty soon anyway). When I was in high school, a girl introduced me to "salads". I had never really been a fan and my first couple of times eating them I wasn't satisfied (hungry). But after a while, I actually started liking them so much (you just have to use the right dressing or olive oil). I was so happy I lost weight without trying and was healthier for that.

  5. There's no such thing as negative calories.

If you want to lose weight, exercise for an hour a day (10 warm-up, 20 min cardio, 20 weights, 10 stretching), limit junk food to two or three bites a day, try to eat whole, unprocessed foods (aka cook at home), and don't try to look for shortcuts.

  6. yes.... you lose like 10 caleries per stick.... but it is really bad for you.... just have a well balanced diet... and excersise!
