  1. no.

    wind disperses excess O2 and CO2 far more quickly than trees put it out.

    if it were true, then there would be uninhabitable zones for miles downwind of power plants.

    they put out far more CO2 than trees put out O2.


  2. the tree absorbs co2, but in fact, it is the amount of co2 in the air that affects the number of trees.

  3. I have 4 acres of land.  I have cut down about 200 trees (about half), and I can't notice any less CO2.  This spring I will cut 25 more.

  4. Yes...Trees used CO2 for photosynthesis, and essentially "exhales" O2 which we humans breath and therefore I dont understand why everyone deems it ok to cut down rainforests and clear cutting. Sorry for the rant but the answer is yes

  5. trees absorb Co2 and give back oxygen. the more trees, the more oxygen you will have in a given area and therefore less Co2.
