LOL...No. Birds have some of the smallest brains on the planet. It's highly unlikely they "think" at all.

From a birds eye and thinking i'd say yes. Imagine yourself a small sparrow looking for a place to impress your perspective mate. See yourself flying and finding a tree house and when you enter it starts to rain but you are inside nice and dry. Whats that you see on the table a whole loaf of bread. Perfect you chirp, just the treat to impress my sweet. After flying up to the rafters you spot a perfect place to build a nest and so you rest and dream of the lady bird who will share your new home.
