  1. My husband and I just came back from a cruise on Celebrity's Constallation.  We had a horrible experience!  The food was great but the ship rocked so much that the general store was packed full of people trying to find remedies.  I also found that the ships staff were far more committed to speed rather than quality.  I have sailed on Royal Caribbean's Adventurer of the Seas and we were treated like royalty.  On the Celebrity, we were told that we could'nt have what we wanted many times over and each person who said no, cited a different reason for doing so. I will also tell you that the pool is very small and they have limited seating around the pool. In the morning all the chairs appeared to be taken because they had fruit or towels on them.  I later saw a man paying on of the pool stewards for placing fruit on four chairs for him while he was sleeping in his room.  Unbelievable! Apparently, the founder of Home Depot ws on our cruise and she apparently commmented that you have to fight for everything you get on this cruise line.  Not celebrity treatment and no, we did not see any celebrities on this cruise.  I would never expect to see one based on the treatment we recieved on this cruise!

  2. As a general rule, they do not.

They say they treat all their guests like celebrities.

Actually, on one of their cruises, I did see Jennifer Anniston and Brad Pitt.  I played in a blackjack tournament with Brad Pitt - and beat him.  He may be a Hollywood star but really not much of a poker player.

My wife saw Jennifer Anniston while they were both in the sauna.  She says Jennifer's body is better in the movies than in real person.  I would really like to have had the chance to do the comparison!

  3. Maybe once in a while, but their slogan is that "you'll get treated as though you were a celebrity".

Their logo is a huge "X", which comes from the old Chandres Cruise Lines.

Celebrity is the number one rated Premium cruise line, beating Royal Caribbean, Princess, and Holland American.  Seven of its ships have been voted as the "Top Ten" of all large cruise ships by Conde Nast.  They also earned the top spot in the "Food" category.

Obviously its our favorite, and we're looking forward to sailing next month on the Celebrity Constellation.  We already have booked a cruise for February 2008 for South America on the new Celebrity Journey.  We go on 2 -3 cruises a year, and have been on all the major cruise lines - nothing comes close to "the Celebrity treatment".

Remember, there's a big difference between Price and Value.  Price is what you pay for something, Value is what you receive for what you've paid.

Try Celebrity, you'll see what I mean!

  4. I am a travel agent working for a national cruise vendor and have booked celebrities on celebrity...as well as other cruise lines.  Name brand celebrity - tag line - 'be treated famously' see more on their history as a greek shipping company by visiting www.celebrity.com

Your best bet for finding a celebrity on board a cruise is Cunard in the queen grill.

On crystal, silverseas, yachts of seabourn you will find unrecognizable celebrity's of business, wall st, innovators, producers etc
