Does the charge cable for the xbox 360 recharge regular AA batteries.?

I have that cable from the plug and play charge kit. I was wondering if the cable recharged regular batteries or only the battery packs

Heyas i think it would be battery packs ... there are like cheap rechargeable kits from 9 £ energizer...they are pretty good

No, i don't think you should do that! it would probably destroy your controller! So no, you can't charge them on the plug and play!

Sorry to say, but they only charge the battery pack it comes with...if you try to charge regular batteries theirs a chance that they'll explode or destroy the controller.
