  1. You need the Gamecube controller.

The Classic Controller is exclusively for some Wii games and all Virtual Console titles.

To put it into perspective, Nintendo did not create their library of Gamecube games with the idea that a controller they will use for their next system that they haven't even thought of fully yet would be compatible for them. ;)

  2. no sorry but hey nice games:)

  3. check out this site, they give you a nintendo wii FOR FREE!! i got mine last week and i'm luuuuvin' it! especially wii boxing :)

  4. You need the Gamecube controller to play Gamecube games. The Classic Controller wont work.

  5. When playing a Gamecube game on your Wii, you'll need a Gamecube controller to play them.

This reason for this is that the Wii disables all non-Gamecube components when you start up the Gamecube game.  Since the Wiimotes & the Classic Controller are specifically for the Wii (as the Wiimote uses Bluetooth), they get disabled & the Wiimote shuts itself off.

You'll just have to suck it up & buy an actual Gamecube or Wavebird controller.  You can usually buy these for around $20-$30 new, but a lot less (around $10-$15) for used controllers.

  6. No....
