  1. No not at all, my pool table has red felt and one that i had in the past was black.

  2. No, it can be any color you want it to be! You'll just have to do some research.

  3. Although there is no official rule dictating the color of the cloth, the traditional color of the cloth is a yellow-green color.  The reason for this is because the games that pool originated from where first played on grass and eventually moved indoors onto tables.  The traditional green color of the cloth is intended to represent the green grass.  An additional benefit of the green color is that it is easy on the eyes when playing for long periods of time.  Colors such as red and orange can be hard on the eyes over long periods of time.  Additionally, patterns such as company logos or special designs can be very distracting to the players.  But to answer your question, no there isn't an "official" color.  However, you'll be hard pressed to find a professional tournament with cloth in any color other than green or blue.  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

  4. No.  You can get tables with a number of other colors.  I kind of like the gold or maize felt.

  5. not at all, my neighbors are MAJOR harley davidson fans, and they recovered thier pool table with orange, and the rail is black, they also have matching harley balls and a harley table cover. you can really go all out, they have a light coming too, the nice stained glass kind, harley as well  = ]

  6. If you want to get the "Home Court (Table) Advantage" Get a Black & White checkered cloth. (It realy screws with your oponents - the 8 ball and the Cue ball will blened right in)

  7. NO
