Does the consul will know if you were terminated in the program? do i have a chance to get a visa again?

I was a former particapant of exchange visitors program but i wasn't able to finish it because i was terminated and i immediately return home. Does the consul will know that i was terminated?? what will be the possible information will be in my sevis?

  1. The Consulate will certainly know. They check SEVIS for just this sort of thing. The US Govt. didn't tell you to leave the country, this was your sponsor abiding by their rules. If you were terminated from your program and left within the time frame given by your sponsor, this will not eliminate you from getting a future US visa. SEVIS will show the reason for termination, although in a very abbreviated format. If you apply for another visa, be prepared to answer why you lost your status and don't wait for the officer to ask you, come right out and explain the situation or else it may look as if you were trying to hide this fact.
