  1. the crocodile hatching the eggs with the aid of a medical professional.

  2. I hatch the eggs.

  3. Crocodilians (crocodiles, alligators, etc.) make nests of rotting vegetation, lay their eggs within, and then cover the eggs with more dead plant material.  Females fiercely guard the nest.  As the vegetation rots, it produces warmth.  Whether the babies develop into males or females is determined by what temperature the eggs become.  Over 85 degrees produces males and under 85 degrees produces females.  Within one nest, a heat gradient most often helps to produce both genders of babies.

To answer your question, the whole nest process, including laying of the eggs, is done by the female, alone.

  4. yes they go to a certain area not to far from the water and dig a whole. then they lay their eggs and at that stage they are vulnerable to predators such as other females. when they successfully lay their eggs, the mother then goes to the water for about a week or two until their eggs hatch(but come back once in a while and make sure that any predators such as monitors(lizards) do not smell the eggs and eat them.) then the babies have this little sharp point on their nose to cut through the shell. when the mother heres them cry she comes and put them in her mouth and carry them to the water.(with the dominate male watches to makes sure that no other males kill the babies.) (you can also tell if there are females or males by inserting some insrument and if its below 89 degrees its a female and its above then it a male)

  5. no they set up an incubator
