  1. The value of the earth is that we depend on it for survival.


  2. Without doubt because everything material that we have from a diamond to an iPod to a wooden bowl comes from there. One major reason we are in the mess we are now is that the "science" of modern Economics is fundamentally flawed and assumes an infinite supply of raw materials.

    If you find the time then look out a book called "Natural Capitalism" by Paul Hawken, Amory B Lovins & L Hunter Lovins or check out the website referenced below where you will find excerpts in pdf format.

  3. Answer #  2 was good, althouht my thoughts, all intregent value is gone. Reason based onthe fact, i believe Oct. 05 ,the earths population, exceeded its ability to support it. It is projected that by 2050, it would take 5 earths to support the population. It would apear to me that we need some world wide population growth controll, although at my age it will make me no difference, but my grand children will definately be effected. We need to focuse on face value, my opinion, Bill C
