Does the endosymbiosis theory include the nucleus??

because it says prokaryotes evolving into eukaryotes

or is it just the mitochondria and chloroplasts?

..would mitochondria need RNA from the nucleus to exist??

  1. As far as I remember its just the chloroplasts and mitochondria.

    As for the mitochondria needing RNA from the cell it lives in, I think it does, but I don't know what for.  I seem to remember the mitochondria having its own circular DNA, but also needing the RNA of the nucleus.
