  1. Never heard of a product called "Evening effect".

But many fish are nocturnal or very sensitive to light and tend to feed more in low light conditions.

Some of it has to do with the temperature and barometric pressure at dusk and dawn.

  2. if it's a product I am unaware of it's a gimmick. but if you are talking about the moon phases matching with the tides and that whole high pressure low pressure philosophy? Yes to the latter. Gravity puts pressure on all eating animals and during certain times of day and night certain moons and tides will cause higher atmospheric pressure which in turn enhances the psychological need to feed, even in us as well. we eat more during certain times and less at others. but you better belive it... those optimum times to be on the water doesn't mean start launching then, it means have your baits where the fish are then.

  3. Catching fish is better during the transitional periods between night and day. It would appear that the low light conditions are prime periods for feeding before moving to the sanctuary of cover and shade. Try it for yourself and compare the difference in bites. Good luck!!!

  4. It's a gimmick as stated by others - fish are more active at dusk & dawn and naturally at night too - they use the dark as cover so they don't have to fear predators as much in the dark.

Anything that claims to catch fish effortlessly or it's a sure thing...is a hoax a marketing ploy...

  5. I agree with Artie
