Does the express blue buses on Los Angeles MTA accept the day passes?

Need to go from Glendale to CSU Fullerton and I just wanted to know if that's possible. Oh, is it also possible to use the day pass on board the OCTA buses?

  1. there are 3 buses companies that use blue buses

    Montebello , Santa Monica and Metro all have Blue express buses

    the only two blue  express line that will honor the Metro day pass

    are 445 downtown LA to San Perdo and 557 El Monte-Long beach (since these are Metro operated line but there will

    be  freeway surcharge even with the day pass

    and no OCT A wont honor a metro day pass but you can get a inter-agency transfer from the 577 driver

    (montebello and Santa monica will NOT honor a metro day pass)
