Does the fact that Sarah Palin has more executive experience than Obama and Biden combined matter?

What matters a great deal more to me is that when the press asked her about being considered for vice president she responded by saying she wasn't sure what the vice president does.  She has stated that she doesn't know anything about what is going on in Iraq.  There are other women who were more qualified for the position of VP if McCain was married to the idea of putting a woman on the ticket in an effort ot woe female voters to his side.  Further, since republicans are supposed to be the party of traditional family values and believe in putting family first, why does no one else seem to be concerned about the fact that she's running for a position that requires almost constant travel despite the fact that she has a four month old baby with down syndrome at home?  Shouldn't she be making some sort of attempt to at least be in the same state as her infant as much as possible?

Saying this drops all of them down to practically no experience whatsoever.  She hasn't even made 2 years as Governor yet, and is Governor of a very small population.  The rest of them have never been executive at any level.

Sarah Palin has a 35% chance of being President.. that is a risk I am not willing to take on someone who is one of the half dozen American's who haven't thought much about the Iraq war.

When Colin Powlle was asked about Obama's readiness to be President he reminded the questioner that he has executed his campaign pretty well.

1) Your premise is false. She has completed  0 terms and 1 year as Governor. Alaska is awash in the lower 48s gas money that is why she is popular. She "has not thought much about the Iraq war", Her town had 6000.

2) If you think Senators don't have executive experience you may not know what they do. A Senator is the executive of a staff and they deal with and are forced to take positions on all the issues that the President does. They also meet with foreign leader.

3) You don't realize that you make the other sides point when you suggest the comical idea that Sarah Palin has been defending Alaska from the Russian invasion or negotiating or something. That would be counter to the Constitution anyway. Individual states don't have separate relationships with other countries.

4) On the other hand Senators do talk to foreign leaders being responsible for treaties with foreign governments
