  1. nah it just proves america if full of 2nd and 3rd finishers, they just dont have winners as china! if it helps to soften the defeat, then its ur choice, no other nation counts total medals! i know the ego must hurt, and so it should! the official ranking by ioc says golds always ranks 1st!  china won so except it.

  2. Why should it depress anyone?

  3. i heard on the news that China received about 100 medals(58 or sth gold) and USA comes second with less gold medals(about 40+)...But both China and USA were magnificent in Beijing Olympics....USA broke many records too, due to GORGEOUS PHELPS!

  4. it depress me that Americans Sucked!

  5. Well how do you explain all the whining and complaining they do about medal tally, it must. You don't see a bunch of Americans on here asking about medal tallies and following them up with anti-America posts all the time.

someone is sure pissed, and it's not the Americans.

  6. No. Why would it be depressing? I'm not the world's greatest fan of the US, but it was sport and the best man/woman on the day that mattered won.

The country that was the best won the most gold medals and that was China. The US did well too and came second in the gold-medal ranking system.

China deserved to win.The Games, in my opinion, were well organised and from everyone's point of view China welcomed the rest of the world. Its sportsmen/women were the best, so they won most medals. It's opening ceremony was beautiful. Ok some of the fireworks were filmed the night before, but they were still real. Lin Miaoke's face appeared but not her voice, but both these things were admitted.

As to whether the Chinese gymnasts were 16 or 14, that is still being investigated. But even if they were 14, they still won gold medals!

  7. How would it depress you anyways? You don't gain anything when any country receives the medals anyways.

  8. i couldn't give a flying F*** at how well the Americans did. Doesn't bother me in the slightest

it would be fairly embarrassing, and frankly quite worrying if the U.S with it's population size and all the resources it has, if it wasn't at top of the Medal table

oh, also, i'm not Anti American

  9. you cannot Fake winning a Olympics sport.  it the real-deal.

you cannot buy  medal at burger-king wal-mart.

gold at Olympics is the Real deal.... cannot Fake.

  10. No. It depresses me that China cheated. It's a shame. They've ruined those girls' careers and their country's name.

  11. Why do you care?

At the end of the day,do YOU personally get anything out of your country winning a medal?

Let me answer that for you: NO

    STOP WHINING!

  12. It joys me to know America beat the low medal dump Luke L calls a country.

  13. Why should that be depressing? I may not be thrilled about everything America has done or like our politicians, but all of these athletes, as individuals and team members, have worked their butts off and were very humble about their wins. I am proud of them.

    :edit:

to angry man above me who asked "who did China cheat?" China cheat themselves. Whether or not the IOC decides to "prove" the false ages doesn't even matter. The WORLD, not just America, knows what is really going on, and basically, China just made themselves look bad. China hosts the Olympics and then doesn't even follow rules. They cheat and then lie about it. So keep on laughing man...your country's government is full of BS. harharhar

    :edit again:

balls, the guy deleted his post. Oh well, I'll still leave my response up for anyone else thinking the same thing. pssh
