Does the finger of the wedding band change in a g*y relationship?

We all know that the wedding band is placed on the left hand next to the pinkie for heterosexuals, does the hand or finger (where the wedding band is placed) change for homosexuals??

    The Egyptians started the tradition of wearing a wedding ring on the fourth finger of the left hand, or "ring finger," thousands of years ago. They believed that a vein in that finger, called vena amoris, or "love vein," traveled directly to the heart.

    Since g*y couples fall in love and get married (where they can), the reasoning for the ring finger is the same.

No. The chinese (I think) culture says that that particular finger is connected to your heart, which is the reason people wear engagement rings and wedding rings on that finger - because it connects the wedding ring to your heart. Therefore, g*y couples are exactly the same - they have the same reasoning and so, wear theirs on the same finger.

    Its the same finger as everyone else... you dont get a special ring finger just because youre g*y.
