Most people will tell you no.  BUT - there are a whole lot of quirky things these little monsters will do -and each one is a source of new delight - what works on ONE does not always work on another.  I have a book called "200 ALTERNATE fingerings for piccolo" - isn't THAT depressing???  Online, go to www.wfg.woodwind.org and find the advanced piccolo fingerings - if that is what you need. If you are NEW at piccolo - start with the same as flute ones - but know you have a *safety* to run to!
