  1. Yes, it can. I've personally experienced a lot of those benefits from it, plus we have thousands of customers that take it because of the same benefits. However, since different people respond differently to different supplements, various users have various experiences (which is why you'll find some people that say it doesn't work at all). If you don't notice some benefits of it within a month or so, you could also try Acetyl L-Carnitine or Fish Oil for brain health.

Also, FWIW, I didn't realize how good the Ginkgo was working until almost a month after I started it... I realized it had been a few weeks since I had forgotten why I walked into a room. LOL! Give it a shot and I'm sure you'll be happy with the results. Oh, and Irwin Naturals is a really expensive brand... there are several other cheaper ones that are just as good. Good luck!

  2. so is claimed, ...but first you have to remember to take it...

  3. IT is a herb and after awhile it tends to diminish in help.

The Australian Bush Flower Essences Cognis will help you remember better and recall better as well.  It tends to keep on improving focus and recall and you tend to need less and less.

You can take twice a day or pot 7 drops in 16 oz of water and shake then sip while studying and repeat when you want to recall something. But the morning and night dose give generally good results (but students will appreciate the sipping method)

  4. Anecdotal evidence may say yes but clinical trials have not shown very promising results. You also have to be aware that you should talk to a doctor first if you are on any blood thinning medication and/or have a family history or strokes or other bleeding disorders because ginkgo can thin the blood.

You could try lemon balm tea or sage tea or alternatively capsules. Both herbs contain natural cholinesterase inhibitors, thus increasing the memory neurotransmitter Acetylcholine (ACh).

If you are on prescription drugs talk to a doctor or pharmacist first before taking herbal supplements because of the risk for herb-drug interactions between some drugs and herbs.

    Best wishes.
