When they say climate changes does it mean it shifts to really cold weather also?? If so how does that happen?

Also, are the greenhouse gases trapping sun photons beams or what exactly is it trapping if someone could explain?

  1. I don't think so, but that would be a cool question to ask al gore.

  2. global warming is the cause of climate shifts, not the result.  changes in climate can cause changes in weather patterns by  oceanic and atmospheric steering current. these changes may mean that dry areas become wetter and cold areas warmer.  continuing climate change will mean continuing changes in weather so really pretty much anything is possible.

greenhouses trap solar radiation that heats the earth.  by trapping more of this heat the earth's surface temperature - land and water - is likely to increase the same way a greenhouse traps the sun's heat making it warm enough inside to grow tropical plants like orchids in places where they could not survive outside the greenhouse environment.

  3. yes,it effect eveything

  4. Solar winds have a big effect on our weather. Don't get to caught up in global warming. With more CO2 one could yield more crops with less farming.

  5. It contrubutes to abnormal climates in the wrong times of year. For example it snows when it's spring, and it's 85 degrees when it's winter.

  6. yes, places that are warm, get cold, and colder places get warmer. and yes, the greenhouse gasses trap the suns photons, especially at the polls  (most of them should be reflected back into space from off of the ice.) but they get trapped in the atmosphere.

  7. The politically correct answer that everyone who claims to know anything is of course, yes. What will happen is a warming cycle is that there will be an expansion of the area of the percent of the globe covered by snow. More light and heat will reflect back out into space and the world will cool back down, It has been doing this for millions of years, there is no reason to expect it to stop.

  8. No, global warming does not contribute to really cold weather.  You need to stop using Hollywood as your source for scientific facts.

  9. global warming means exstreme climatic conditions that includes cold as well as heat
