  1. yes

  2. Don't believe everything you hear from the global warming alarmists.  They are the same people that told us 20 years ago that we were heading for another ice age.  One fact that we never hear is that Mars' polar ice caps are melting at the same rate Earths are.  I wounder if the sun just MIGHT have something to do with it!  And what about the fact that a single volcano can spew more greenhouse gasses into the air during one eruption than the history of all humanity combined.

  3. Yes, of course.   The link below has a very interesting article about this:

    http://www.time.com/time/magazine/articl...

  4. Global warming means that it is warming up everywhere, also in the polar areas. So yes.

  5. yes because our osone layer has a gap in it due to gasses, it has caused the north pole to warm up and in the process melt the ice

  6. yes global warming is the main cause for the melting of the polar ice due to the carbon dioxide present it the atmosphere

  7. Yes.Definitely.

  8. yeah..global warmin leads to the increase of carbon dioxide which results in the heating up of the environment.dis in turn increases the temperature of the earth.due to the risin of the temperature u'll find that the ice in the polar r by and by meltin and the water contend is increasin

  9. yes it iz d coz of meltin of ice caps n glaciers in d polar......!!!!

  10. YUP!

  11. yes the increase of Co2 levels in the atmosphere making the earth warmer(global warming) in the exact reason why the polar ice caps are melting, and douche-bag talking about mars  yes after the world gets hotter and many natural catastrophies take place their will be an ice age, its just the earth trying to maintain equilibrium and since we threw it off were getting the results now. The fact is we have been having Ice ages and then warmer periods for a long time but now due to all of our bullshit weve put a burden on this planet and the ice ages and warmer periods will be alot more destructive and powerful then before.

  12. Partly but not mainly. It also is because the golf current has changed a bit during a decade

  13. Yes.It it cause by Global Warming. If you want to save Earth, please RECYCLE Plastic,Paper,Glass Bottle,Tin Cans and other things that can be recycle.So...BE GREEN!

  14. Yes it is a major cause . And North Pole may lose all its Summer Ice by 2050 if present rate of Global Warming remains .

  15. yeah..

  16. yes

I think this is the main cause

  17. Actually. the main reason is that the people are cuttind down forest. so there is less oxygen in the atmosphere because less plant  is doing photosynthesis. There is more carbondioxide on the atmosphere. This carbondioxide goes up in the atmosphere. This carbondioxide combine with the oxygen to form carbonmonoxide.

                 CO2  +  O2  -->  CO

This carbonmonoxide forms a blanket over the earth"s atmosphere and  absorbs heat and does not let it to go out.

This increase earth temperature and that is why the  ice in the polar are melting.

  18. Yes...........

  19. yeah but we cant say it as the main cuase because as the carbon di oxide is the cause for the ozone depletion and it can be the first cause and then the global warming is let into air that makes temperature and it makes the earth an unsafer place to live

    do you know

why does the global warming occurs

the main point is mingling of CO2

the next is that the smoke also makes

the other is that the detroiting of the environment , that is

throwing of waste into sources of the nature

  20. No one is certain.  Climate interactions are so complex, it is unlikely anyone will be able to pinpoint a specific climatic effect from a specific change.

For example, deposition of soot (carbon black) from burning fossil fuels has changed the reflectivity (albedo) of the arctic, allowing more sunlight to be absorbed instead of reflected.

    see:

    http://www.physorg.com/news105888386.htm...

For all the interest in CO2, burning of fossil fuels creates aerosols of carbon, SO2, etc. that also have significant effect on the atmosphere.

  21. yes ....it is the  leading reason behind melting of polar caps....because of vehicles which are increasing day by day...so it should be.......

  22. Yeah, certainly has contributed to it.
