There are Small Business (SBA) loans, but you have to have assets to cover the loan.

It sure seems that way!  In our area, they keep a business just long enough to rape the industry, trash the building and move back to their country with all the money they made. It actually makes me wonder how many foreign families Americans support without knowing it.  If there are loans or tax advantages given to these individuals it's being seriously abused and hurting our economy.  It needs to be investigated, not just for abuse but homeland security issues!

It depends on your status, i.e. are you a foreign national, do you have a green card, are you being sponsored or are you just here on vacation or on a business visa.  In short it will depend on your ties to this country.  Are you permanent or here occasionally.  That said there are programs available to assist in the purchase of a franchise business or gas stations that have convenience centers.  The next questions are how is your credit, do you work and have income, do you have cash to put down, if so how much, do you have other assets and lastly do you have experience owning and running this type of business.  If your answers are no to most of these questions then you probably would not qualify for the loan.  If, however, your answers are yes to most of these questions then you may qualify.  The bottom line is that more information is needed from you in order to determine whether you would qualify for such a loan.  If you want to learn more contact me.
