Just how big brother are we? Do the above keep our records, and can follow us wherever we go?

I.e. If you take a plane from London to Argentina, would they know you have gone? Where to? And when you return?

  1. If your asking if they could track you then the answer is yes.

    No one can disapear...

I dont think we watch our borders anyway near enough.

  2. Yes, people traveling in and out of the UK are all logged on Computers. They also retain copies of the flight manifest. Even cargo planes are logged. This is not new, but has been going on for the last 15 years.

  3. The new passports allow completely accurate records of your coming and goings when electronically scanned at each immigration checkpoint.  The old ones do not.  As old passports are renewed, eventually all records will be kept.

  4. Yup, that's what bureaucracies are all about.  The airline was even concerned about my not being in my assigned seat.  Of course, non of these records are actually pulled unless something happens.

  5. Not only do they keep track but also share the data with numerous foreign governments.!

  6. They know where your going and supposedly for how long but no they don't keep track of you all the time. That's how ppl overstay the visas coz they don't got records or tracking.
