  1. i couldn't agree more!!!

  2. The internal combustion engine has been being improved upon for over a hundred years and billions of dollars goes into research and development even today, a new technology like fuel cells can't be expected to replace it in less than a decade. There are still plenty of problems to be worked out before it even becomes viable for competitive production on today's market like hydrogen production, storage duration (hydrogen evaporates away), and volume (hydrogen has more energy per kilogram than gasoline but takes up more space).

And I really don't like all the government conspiracy theories. Don't you think if the current administration, one of the least popular ever, would bring a viable technology to bear as soon as possible if it could improve all our lives so as to improve said popularity? The only way this technology could help the American people out is  if it would save us money by being more efficient, which it isn't right now, and if it saved us money then it would increase our spending and paychecks which would cycle back to the government. The government isn't some separate entity siphoning money out of the economy, it is part of the economy.
